For Hydro-Québec TransÉnergie, our consultant performed a business case analysis for the upgrade of their GIS and Integrated Vegetation Management systems. The required upgrade would allow to better document the various elements which are environmentally sensitives within substations and to improve the vegetation management with the transmission lines right-of-ways.

The business case also included the possibility to migrate existing systems to newer technologies which would be more in line with the recommended corporate architectures.
